All girls entering grades 7-8 for the 2025-2026 school year who are interested in playing volleyball are invited to participate in upcoming open gyms. Open gyms are great opportunities to get in extra repetitions and improve skills ahead of tryouts in August. Open gyms will be held every Tuesday & Thursday from 4-6 PM. Locations will rotate regularly between Roosevelt, Schaefer & Hayward.
Roosevelt: April 29, May 1, May 20, May 22, June 10, June 12
Schaefer: May 6, May 8, May 27, May 29, June 17, June 19
Hayward: May 13, May 15, June 3, June 5, June 24, June 26
Athletes should attend open gyms with proper attire (including shoes -- no Crocs, slides or other like shoes) and a water bottle. Families are encouraged to contact Coach Jenna Leinasars via email at leinasarsjm@scsdoh.org if they have additional questions.
