Trivia enthusiasts, this one's for you!
On Friday, March 7, The Wildcat Athletic Club is hosting a trivia night at the State Theater. The event starts at 6 PM with doors opening at 5 PM. All proceeds of this event will go to the Wildcat Athletic Club to support the success of student athletes. 🏋🏼♂️
The winning team will get to take home the grand prize of $200!💰 There will also be a 50/50 raffle, silent auction & prizes for the teams that have the best name and table decorations.🏆
Tickets are $25 each and can be purchased from springfieldstatetheater.com/events or in person at The Dome during normal District business hours. 🎟️ You must be 18 & over to attend.

The Wildcat Wrestling team fought hard today at Centerville sectionals. As a team the wrestlers wrestled the best of the season even though the win/loss might not show it. Special congratulations to:
Anthony Gevedon placing 6th
Tyree Beal placing 6th
Royce Rogers Sectional Champion.



Season 2025 is here!
Tryouts are next week. *Location: Hayward MS *Dates/Times: Monday, February 24 4:30-6:30 PM,Tuesday, February 25 4:30-6:30 PM and Wednesday, February 26 4:30-6:30 PM. Please note: You must attend all three days. All potential team members MUST have a PHYSICAL on file with the SCSD Athletic Department in order to tryout. You can print off a physical form from Final Forms (if all required forms are filled out). The physical form must be taken to and signed by a doctor, and returned to the Springfield Athletic Department or to one of the coaches.

Your Wildcat Wrestling team competed in GWOC today. The team wrestled strong, as the state series begins next weekend. Royce Rogers is your new GWOC heavyweight champ!!

Congrats to the 8th Grade for their win in the first round of the GWOC Tournament!
What a bittersweet moment it was on Saturday to watch 'The Special Six' take the victory on our home land for the last time in their Middle School ball career!

Congratulations to all our swimmers for awesome swims and time drops today and last night at sectionals. We have one swimmer, Penelope Derr, moving on to districts next week in 100 breaststroke.




What an AMAZING county swim meet we had today! In addition to an incredible meet we also recognized our seniors. Girls took 3rd place overall and Boys tied for 4th with only 3 swimmers. Relay Wins: Our girls 200 Medley Relay made up of Emma McCuistion, Penelope Derr, Caroline Yontz, and Lily Burcham placed 2nd. Our girls 200 Freestyle Relay made up of Penelope Derr, Carli Burke, Lily Burcham, and Caroline Yontz took 3rd place. Individual Wins: Brendan Russell took 2nd place in 200 Free and 3rd place in 100 Back. Lily Burcham took 3rd place in 200 IM. Levi Russel took 2nd place in 50 Free and 3rd place in 100 Fly. Penelope Derr took 1st place in 100 Breast and 3rd place in 100 Free. We also had time drops by many of our swimmers Evaeh Beane, Elaina Rockwell, Brendan Russell, Lily Burcham, Alexis Miller, Šimon Pražák, Emma McCuistion, and Levi Russell. We are proud of our Wildcats! Congratulations to all our swimmers as we move into sectional's week.

The Lady Wildcats basketball team picked up another win last night against Centerville. They improve to 9-8 on the season. Senior night will be on Wednesday at Springfield High School
