
The high school golf season finished yesterday after Weston Mohler competed at the OHSAA Southwest District Tournament. This was Weston's second straight trip to the District tournament. He shot an 86, and will look to build on his success next fall.

Girls basketball tryouts will be on October 25 and 26th. Remember that all students who tryout must be registered in final forms, meet eligibility requirements, and have a valid physical on file with the athletic department.


8th Grade fought hard, but lost in a tough battle against Fairmont. Several players had awesome performances, including Chloe Robinette (5 digs, 2 assists & 2 kills), Harper Thompson (4 digs & 3 kills), Blayke Steinberger (4 digs), Kyili Craig (2 digs, 2 assists & 2 aces), Emma Dillon (3 digs) & Lacie Jessee (1 assist, 1 kill and perfect serve receive).

Congratulations to the 7th Grade team for their win over Fairmont last night! The team is now on a 3-game win streak. Shout to Rylee Thomas (2 digs, 4 assists & 2 aces), Avery Youngblood (3 kills & 5 aces), Derreon Miller (4 kills & 8 aces) & Gracie Maynard (6 aces) for their stellar performances!

Good game MS Wildcats! It was a tough game vs Wright Brothers, who won with a final score of 3-1, but we gave them a hard fight! Shout out to Liventz-Ley Regulus for scoring a great goal on a corner kick!

Both JV and Varsity girls lost to Kettering Fairmont last night at home. 5-2 and 5-0. Congrats to Kennedi Jones for scoring twice in the JV game! Both teams played really well and continue to improve with every game.

Girls tennis performed well today at the DI sectionals tournament. 1st doubles Peri Hiller-Freund and Savanna Vela made it to the second round and 1st singles Kalyssa Meisner made it to the third round of the tournament. Way to go girls, great season for the lady cats!

Congratulations to the 7th & 8th grade volleyball teams for their wins over Miamisburg last night! Avery Youngblood (7th) racked up 3 kills and 7 aces. Teammate Rylee Thomas had 3 assists and 2 aces and Gracie Maynard was perfect from the serving line. 8th grader Harper Thompson collected 3 digs, 4 kills and 1 ace. Blayke Steinberger (8th) had 6 aces and teammate Chloe Robinette had 6 digs, 3 kills and 8 aces. Great game, Wildcats!

Big wins for JV and Varsity tonight at home vs Piqua. JV won 3-1 behind goals from Kennedi Jones, Sophia Meadows, and Fadihla Ashraf. Varsity earned a hard fought 1-0 win behind a second half goal by Kaylie Baker and an assist for Ja'Niyah Benton. Lailah James and Mariah Herron combined with a stellar defense to complete the shutout win. Go Wildcats! Final home game of the season is this Wednesday!

Great game for MS Soccer against Stivers! This was our first game against the Stivers team, who edged by us, 2-1, but we played hard and represented SCSD like Wildcats!

Absolutely gutting losses at home last night. Our wildcat girls battled but fell 2-1 and 1-0 in yesterday's games. Everyone left it all on the field. We are so proud of the effort and belief in each other and our team. The support has been incredible this season.
