Happy Friday Snowhill Wildcats,
Our 3rd through 6th grade students have had a wonderful start to their state assessments and we have our Kindergarten through 2nd grade classmates to thank! To support our test takers and be a champion for success our primary classes partnered with our upper grade rooms to cheer them on as they began their first week of testing. Hallways and class doors were covered with encouraging posters. Handwritten notes and treats were also given to boost our test takers towards success! Our 3rd through 6th grade students have truly enjoyed the encouragement and look forward to repaying the effort as they champion their primary grade classmates during next month's end of year assessments. Testing takes a lot of focus and determination and our students have truly SHINED this week!

Snowhill students, across all grade levels, spent the week learning about and participating in activities that embrace the upcoming solar eclipse! Students and staff are excited to participate in this one in a lifetime experience. We want to give a BIG "Thank You" to the district's Food and Nutrition Services Department for sending each student home with a bag of eclipse goodies: Sun Chips and Moon Pies! Students also received their very own pair of eclipse glasses. We hope that each Snowhill family has a STELLAR weekend!
