Section 504/ADA
Section 504 is a federal law designed to protect the rights of individuals with disabilities in public school programs and activities. Students who have a substantial impairment in one of several major life activities may qualify for a Section 504 plan, which ensures accommodations are provided to assist the student in various educational capacities.
If you suspect your child has a disability under Section 504, please complete the Suspected Disability Referral Form below and submit it to the secretary at your child's school with any other documentation regarding the disability. The school's Section 504 coordinator will then in be touch with you regarding next steps.
