The Springfield City School District proudly announces the outstanding achievements of its Communications team at the Ohio School Public Relations Association (OHSPRA) Conference. Cherie Moore and Jenna Leinasars have been recognized for their exceptional contributions to educational communications, reflecting SCSD’s dedication to transparency, community engagement and excellence.

Cherie Moore received two awards: a ‘Mark of Excellence’ for her compelling ‘More to Offer’ billboard and a 'Mark of Distinction' award for an informative SCSD By the Numbers brochure. These recognitions highlight her creativity and skill in effectively conveying SCSD's mission and achievements to the community.

Jenna Leinasars was honored with four awards, demonstrating her versatile talent and commitment to impactful communication. She earned two ‘Mark of Excellence’ awards for editions of the Staff Newsletter, a 'Mark of Excellence' award for an engaging podcast episode, and a ‘Mark of Distinction’ award for a powerful photo of a Kenwood student during Veterans Day. Each of these awards signifies her ability to connect with diverse audiences through various media.
